Auto body repairer — Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region

Now hiring: we are hiring an auto body repairer in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. You will work at a busy body shop. The role involves: • Check alignment with measuring gauges after a structural pull • Mix and spread body filler, then block-sand to a smooth contour • Mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting • MIG-weld and spot-weld new panels into place • Read insurance damage reports and assessor estimates You should have: • Able to set up and use a frame/jig straightening bench • Good eye for panel gaps and body lines • Comfortable working with dust, noise and spray fumes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $4,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
