Canteen cook — Essex County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a canteen cook in Essex County, Virginia. You will work at a roadside dhaba. Day-to-day duties: • Monitor food temperatures and run regular HACCP checks • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Check deliveries and rotate stock using FIFO You should have: • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat Pay around $5,100 per month, based on your experience.
