Vacancy available: we are hiring a marble fitter in Cumberland County, North Carolina. The job is at a kitchen worktop showroom. The role involves restore old marble by honing, crystallising and buffing back to finish; grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets; shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels; level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat; lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys; cut marble and granite slabs on a bridge saw with diamond blades. You should have: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Own hand tools an advantage 2+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
