The role involves: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Give each garment a final press before packing • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
