Argon arc welder — Champaign County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Champaign County, Ohio. You will run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. You should have: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to pass a weld test on the spot Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
