We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Washington County, Georgia. The job is at an automotive components factory. Requirements: • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges The role involves select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
