Trowel-trade bricklayer wanted in Goliad County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a trowel-trade bricklayer in Goliad County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Day to day you will installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. $3,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
