Bar bender and fixer • Terry County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Terry County, Texas. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. The role involves: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
