Vacancy available: reinforcement fitter (Michigan)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Arenac County, Michigan. You will work on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements On a typical shift you will fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules.
