Abattoir worker wanted in Douglas County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Douglas County, South Dakota. You will work at a halal meat counter. On the job you will handle: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts You should have: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • 2+ years experience working as a butcher Six days a week, one day off.
