Fabricator-welder — Chautauqua County

Join our team: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Chautauqua County, Kansas. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Part-time with flexible hours.
