Immediate opening: we are hiring a security guard in Johnson County, Illinois. You will be based at a shopping mall. Ideal candidate: • Valid PSARA / security guard licence • Alert, disciplined and punctual • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Day-to-day duties: • Monitor the CCTV screens in the control room • Detain shoplifters or trespassers and hand them over to police • Man the entry gate and check visitor IDs and gate passes • Keep watch on the perimeter fence and parking area • Write up incident reports after any disturbance • Raise the alarm and follow the evacuation drill in an emergency At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
