Now hiring: refrigeration and AC technician (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC technician in Howard County, Iowa. You will be based in shopping malls and office buildings. Day to day you will braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks; fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter; install ducting, grilles and VRF/VRV branch boxes; run and lag the condensate drain line with the right fall; commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow; check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces • 2+ years hands-on split and cassette AC installation experience • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
