Immediate opening: HSE officer (Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a HSE officer in New Kent County, Virginia. On a typical shift you will ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports. Requirements: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
