In-process quality controller — Switzerland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an in-process quality controller in Switzerland County, Indiana. The job is on a garment production line. Requirements: • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping Your main tasks: • Compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings • Inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting • Segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items • Verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing • Carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line • Raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
