Fire and safety officer — Idah

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Idah, Kogi State. You will work at a manufacturing plant. Requirements: • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate The role involves stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action; conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment; audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges; deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors; inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height. 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. ₦225,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
