Great opportunity: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Mahnomen County, Minnesota. You will be based on a dam or embankment job. The role involves: • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank • Refuel the machine and record running hours You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
