CNC milling operator • Chowan County, North Carolina

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Chowan County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters Requirements: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron 6+ years on the tools preferred.
