Crane operator wanted in Franklin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Franklin County, Virginia. You will be based on a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • A good head for heights for tower crane work On the job you will handle: • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
