Vacancy available: we are hiring a marble fitter in Northwest Arctic Borough, Alaska. You will work in a natural stone fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Shape edges, bullnoses and bevels with an angle grinder and profiling wheels • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Fill cracks, chips and open veins with colour-matched epoxy resin • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets You should have: • Own hand tools an advantage • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
