QC technician — Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region

Join our team: we are hiring a QC technician in Southeastern Connecticut Planning Region, Connecticut. The job is at a pharmaceutical packaging facility. Day to day you will inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; record measurements on inspection sheets and SPC charts; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; raise non-conformance reports and tag rejected batches; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools. Ideal candidate: • Confident using vernier callipers, micrometers and gauges • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
