Core maker wanted in Hillsdale County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Hillsdale County, Michigan. You will be based on the moulding line. On the job you will handle: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale You should have: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Rotating shifts.
