Great opportunity: commercial tyre fitter (Illinois)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Grundy County, Illinois. You will be based in a tyre and puncture shop. The role involves jack up vehicles safely and set them on axle stands; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches; rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule; remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts; check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear; vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres. Requirements: • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • A good eye for tread wear and sidewall damage • Awareness of workshop health and safety At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
