Powder coater — Allegheny County

Join our team: we are hiring a powder coater in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. The job is in a busy paint shop. On a typical shift you will check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns; cure coated parts in the curing oven at set temperature and time; hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse; sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of pre-treatment and phosphating process • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
