Immediate opening: GMAW welder (Kansas)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Cheyenne County, Kansas. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
