Now hiring: we are hiring a cabinet maker in San Saba County, Texas. The job is at a kitchen and furniture manufacturer. Your main tasks: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together You should have: • Own basic hand tools • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
