Container truck driver • Madera County, California

Vacancy available: we are hiring a container truck driver in Madera County, California. You will be based at a haulage company. You will couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules; keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards. Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience.
