Rebar fixer wanted in Sullivan County

Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Sullivan County, New York. Day to day you will install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; assemble column and beam cages on the bench; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
