Production welder — Polk County

Now hiring: we are hiring a production welder in Polk County, Texas. You will work at a busy production line. What we are looking for: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
