Aluminium technician — Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium technician in Lower Connecticut River Valley Planning Region, Connecticut. Your main tasks: • Erect curtain walling, shopfronts and partitions on site • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames • Drill, tap and rivet sections and fix with self-drilling screws • Anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners • Fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
