Brickwork mason wanted in Morgan County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Morgan County, Illinois. You will work at a residential building site. Your main tasks: • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts You should have: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Rotating shifts.
