Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in City of Hopewell, Virginia. The job is in a pharmaceutical piping facility. You will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Part-time with flexible hours.
