Fabricator-welder wanted in Winkler County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Winkler County, Texas. The job is on a structural steel site. You will lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. You should have: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
