Now hiring: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Newton County, Georgia. Day to day you will fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. You should have: • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
