Rebar fixer — Otoe County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Otoe County, Nebraska. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Ideal candidate: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length. We offer $18 per hour plus benefits. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
