Port container crane operator • Brown County, Indiana

Great opportunity: we are hiring a port container crane operator in Brown County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Proven experience on mobile, tower or overhead cranes On a typical shift you will carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL). Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
