Concrete shuttering carpenter • Scott County, Virginia

Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Scott County, Virginia. You will work on a metro and tunnel project. What we are looking for: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing Day to day you will erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters.
