Gang bricklayer • Giles County, Tennessee

Great opportunity: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Giles County, Tennessee. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Day-to-day duties: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
