Tailor machinist • Zavala County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring a tailor machinist in Zavala County, Texas. Day to day you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. Requirements: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
