Aluminium fabricator — Derry City and Strabane

Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium fabricator in Derry City and Strabane, Northern Ireland. The job is at a busy aluminium fabrication workshop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding and ladders • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Physically able to lift and carry heavy glass and profiles The role involves check frames for plumb, level and square before fixing; anchor frames to brick or RCC openings with fixing lugs and dash fasteners; crimp the corner joints and fit corner cleats on the crimping machine; fit EPDM rubber gaskets and beading into the glazing channels; de-burr, clean and protect anodised or powder-coated surfaces; cut aluminium profiles to size on a double-mitre cutting saw.
