Immediate opening: we are hiring a baker in Lincoln County, New Mexico. The job is at a cake shop. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks The role involves: • Grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel 3+ years on the tools preferred.
