Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Crawford County, Michigan. You will be based on the press shop floor. What we are looking for: • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards The role involves feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; record output and downtime on the production sheet; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $21 per hour, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts.
