Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Cook County, Illinois. You will be based at a boiler and appliance service centre. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations On a typical shift you will fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Contact us to fix an interview.
