Great opportunity: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Prince Edward County, Virginia. Requirements: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety You will clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
