Panel welder • Ganjuwa, Bauchi State

We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel welder in Ganjuwa, Bauchi State. The job is in a heavy engineering unit. Day-to-day duties: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Part-time with flexible hours.
