Urgent requirement: we are hiring a HGV driver in Madison County, Georgia. The role involves: • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Current Driver CPC qualification card Overtime paid at a premium rate.
