Milling machinist — Lowndes County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a milling machinist in Lowndes County, Alabama. The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience.
