Now hiring: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Calhoun County, Arkansas. You will work at a textile finishing unit. Requirements: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings On a typical shift you will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
