Immediate opening: we are hiring a hoist operator in Hill County, Montana. You will be based in a steel fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control • Fill in the daily logbook and raise defect reports • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines You should have: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
