Structural MIG welder • Pike County, Mississippi

Vacancy available: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Pike County, Mississippi. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Six days a week, one day off.
